BIOPLAST is 100% biodegradable material, made with poly-lactic acids (PLA), which are presents in plants like corn and sugarcane. BIOPLAST follows the standard UNE 13432, which defines final biodegradability as “decomposition of organic chemical product by microorganisms in presence of oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water and mineral salts.
This material is 100% compostable and made under environmental standard ISO 14001 and quality standard 9001.
BIOPLAST by Plasgen FOLLOWS the standard (CE) 1935/2004 of October, 27 of 2004 of the European Parliament regarding materials made for food contact and standard 2023/2006 of December, 22 of 2006 regarding good practices for manufacturing products for food contact.
Raw materials used to manufacture this film are certified by TÜV Austria OK Compost INDUSTRIAL and OK Compost HOME.
Regulation (EU) 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
BIO-PLAST
This film is made with fist quality materials and our suppliers are leaders in the market. Film applications cover any kind of industry. Polyethylene resins are among the most inert polymers and they are not dangerous with normal handling by skin contact or ingestion.
It is 100% recyclable and has the following properties:
· Good processability and rigidity.
· Excellent physical, mechanical and optical (depending on thickness) properties.
Besides, it is possible to add additives to improve properties as: slipping, anti-blocking, colors, UV protection…
Production of this film is made with machines fitted with static electricity control, with maxi tolerance of +/- 5 kW.
